Breadwoman – shortmovie

Breadwoman is a storyteller and she’s so very old she’s turned into bread. Although Breadwoman stands outside of time, she is rich in the ingredients of 1980s Los Angeles performance art, renegade DIY punk, gallery culture, galvanized jazz, underground cassette-trading culture, drag extravaganzas, and esoteric meaning-making mysticism.

Credits – Dimitris Chimonas

Overbearingly artificial, brashly executed, and theatrically spun, each film from the trilogy ‘Credits’ breaks down the ideas and characters it portrays with searing self- awareness. Using theatrical techniques and terminology, it attempts to undermine normative notions of authenticity, truth, and the primacy of emotions and subjective experience.

Curtas – Vila Do Conde International Film Festival

Firmly rooted in northern Portugal, this international film festival has been reaching out to ever-new forms of cinematic art for 30 years. For the occasion they meticulously crafted a programme of Portuguese films and of the experimental electromagnetic world of Billy Roisz.

Otto Hernandez x Bandustika live

Physical Culture – Anna Bogomolova

An experimental choreographed short film that frames rave as a vital human practice in the information age — it invites us to explore conscious physical movement, who we are when we dance and why we do it, placing some universal existential questions into refreshingly queer, playful packaging. It’s rave, it’s queer, it’s for everybody.

Suzybee x Steevio

Modular analogue sounds and hand drawn animations are woven together in the audio- visual universe of visual artist Suzybee and electronic music producer Steevio. Fuelled by a dedication to dance music and a deep concern for ecology, their short films carry us back to the Earth and to the Ocean.
